Transferring credits in Montana

A student's first two dual enrollment courses (up to six credits) are tuition free under One-Two-Free; the MUS also waives fees for dual enrollment students. Beyond that, additional courses are charged at the dual enrollment tuition rate of 50% of two-year resident tuition, a per-credit dollar amount that varies by campus and was not published on this page. Textbooks and course-specific fees (labs, etc.) are NOT covered; students who demonstrate hardship may apply for a scholarship to cover tuition on additional courses.

Who can enroll. Must be enrolled in a Montana school district, be between the ages of 16-19 and/or have junior/senior standing, and have successfully completed the required classes at their grade level and be on track to graduate within four years. The benefit applies at Montana University System campuses (dual enrollment through MUS two-year and affiliated campuses), delivered either as Early College courses on a college campus or online, or as Concurrent Enrollment courses taught in the high school by a qualified high school teacher.
