Transferring credits in Alaska

Alaska has no statewide dual-enrollment subsidy or statewide price. Under UA system policy the student pays regular university tuition and fees unless a school district, tribal organization, municipality or other external funder agrees to pay, or unless a negotiated agreement reduces the rate; cost per credit varies by campus. Who can enroll. Any K-12 (including homeschool) student may enroll; UA Board of Regents policy forbids restrictions beyond those applying to all university students, other than to comply with law or to ensure informed parental consent. Scope is the University of Alaska system (UAA, UAF, UAS) only; whether high school credit is awarded is decided by the school district, and individual campuses set their own program rules and prices.
