Price set locally
Missouri sets no statewide dual credit price — each approved college or university sets its own (usually discounted) per-credit-hour rate, and the family pays it. The state's Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Scholarship reimburses tuition and fees, but only for students who meet a financial-need indicator, and the semester award equals actual tuition and fees charged after all other non-loan aid is applied. Books and transportation are not addressed; funding is limited and applications close Dec 1 (fall) / Apr 1 (spring).
Who can enroll. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a Missouri resident, take the coursework through an approved Missouri postsecondary provider, hold a minimum 2.5 unweighted cumulative high school GPA, meet the school's own requirements for taking dual credit/dual enrollment, and satisfy at least one financial-need indicator (free/reduced-price lunch eligibility, foster care, ward of the state, McKinney-Vento homelessness, family receiving Medicaid/SNAP/WIC, or federally subsidized public housing). Applies only to state-approved dual credit providers.
